Frequently Asked Questions

What is the address of the event?

Catoosa Event Center:
216 Turnberry Drive
Jamestown TN 38556

Can I set up a camper or RV?

Yes, though you must fill out the RV Registration Form so we can properly place you at the event. There are no hookups nor waste water dump on site, so plan accordingly.

Can I camp next to or in my car?

Limited open car camping is available near the parking lot.

Unless your car is a hybrid used as a generator, you are disabled, or your vehicle is your tent with a registered theme camp AND decorated or hidden, you must move your vehicle to parking after unloading.

Can I bring my pet?

No. Only service animals may enter the premises. Under ADA we allow working service animals, animals defined as such for the tasks they provide to accommodate disabilities. Service animals should be registered ahead of the event. Email connect@tothemoon.com. Service animals must be leashed and in accompaniment of their owner at all times.

Can I get into the event for free if I volunteer?

No but you CAN earn a directed or discounted ticket for the next event by volunteering at the current event!

4 hours of volunteering: Directed ticket code to skip the line for next year's burn

12 hours of volunteering: Half-price ticket code for next year's burn

Will there be vendors or food sold?

No, in fact it is absolutely not allowed. The only item that may be purchased on site ice. Bring what you need to survive.

Can I get booked for the event as a performer / Dj / dancer etc?

No. There actually is no such thing as "Getting booked" for a burn event. If you wish to gift your DJ skills, contact any of the sound theme camps to see if you can be fit into their vision. Dancers, performers, etc are free to display their talents as they please.

What does "LNT" mean?

Leave No Trace, one of the 10 Principles.
Participants clean up after themselves and others as they go. There are NO garbage cans on the grounds.
You are REQUIRED to pack out all garbage, objects, and particulate matter that you bring in. The land is to be kept pristine.

Are campfires allowed?

Yes. They must be contained and a minimum of 6 inches off the ground, such as a fire bowl. Fires must be attended at all times.

Can I play music at my camp?

Yes and No. Music must be kept at a volume low enough such that it does not interfere with neighboring camps. For camps that wish to play substantially louder music, they must apply to be a Sound Camp, which has additional compliance rules and will be sequestered to an area of the event with high volume activity.

Is nudity allowed at To The Moon?

TN Nudity Laws prohibit full or partial nudity on public property, and while we are on private property, the law still applies if minors are present.

Can I leave To The Moon and come back?

No. If you leave before the event ends you will not be allowed to re-enter without a new, valid ticket. A medical emergency is the only exception and has to be granted by an Event Lead.

Are there showers on the grounds?

No. If you wish to shower, you will need to rig that up yourself, keeping in mind this is a LNT event, so all grey water must be collected and packed out. There is absolutely no bathing in the natural water features on the grounds!

The only toilets available are port-o-potties which will be stationed throughout camping areas.

What happens if I arrive to the event later than open gate hours?

Since To The Moon has minimal lighting, camp set up will take place the next morning. You will be taken to a holding tank to park overnight.
